• Nifty Analytics: We use a custom, privacy-focused tracking engine that stores a unique nifty_visitor_id in your LocalStorage. This helps us count unique visitors without using intrusive third-party cross-site trackers.

C. Functional (User Experience)

These remember your preferences to give you a better experience.

• UI Preferences: We use LocalStorage to remember your search layout preferences and recent search history so you don't have to re-configure the app every time you visit.

3. Specific Technology Matrix

• Nifty IP (jwt Cookie)

  • Duration: Session / Persistent
  • Purpose: Keeps you logged in securely (HTTP-only).

• Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, etc.)

  • Duration: 2 years
  • Purpose: Analytics and Ads Conversion tracking.

• Nifty IP (nifty_visitor_id)

  • Duration: Permanent
  • Purpose: Internal analytics and unique visitor counting (LocalStorage).

• Nifty IP (search_pref)

  • Duration: Permanent
  • Purpose: Remembers your UI layout preferences (LocalStorage).

4. Your Choices & Consent

When you first visit Nifty IP, we show you a Consent Banner.

• If you ignore or click "Decline": We only fire "Strictly Necessary" technologies. Google Analytics will remain in a restricted "ping-only" mode that does not store cookies on your device.
• If you click "Accept": We enable full analytics and performance tracking to help improve the tool.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies and LocalStorage, which will re-trigger the Consent Banner.
